In January of 2025, I finished the first draft of my first novel. I started out as a wild idea born out of boredom while stuck inside my office on a beautiful August day. As the days grew shorter, I was able to spend more and more time fleshing out characters and developing their world.
I quickly fell in love with them and decided I would need professional guidance if I wanted their story to live beyond the screen of my personal computer. In September, I committed to hiring an editor for a developmental review of my manuscript, after which she encouraged me to seek out an agent and pursue traditional publishing. I am pleased to report that the developmental edit is now complete and will be returned to her for line edits later this week. During that time, I will be focusing on building this website and outlining my next story. My goal for 2026 is to work with her on a query package for my debut novel and lay the groundwork for my next. I hope you will join me on this exciting journey!
